In this lesson, Gohar Vardanyan shares musical and technical insights on Augustin Barrios’ Un sueño en la floresta. Vardanyan begins by discussing the technical aspects one must master to play this piece - namely tremolo and left hand flexibility.
One tip Vardanyan suggests for developing tremolo is practicing a series of combinations in the right hand along with the familiar P-A-M-I pattern. Vardanyan then walks through each section of the piece indicating important musical moments and ways of interpreting the music.
