Gohar Vardanyan walks through each section of Isaac Albeniz’s “Córdoba” from Chants d'Espagne, originally written for piano. A few of the many musical aspects discussed include using rubato effectively, balancing the melody and accompaniment, and deciding which arrangement to use.
Vardanyan also offers a technical alternative to the rasgueado section in the middle with the use of arpeggios instead.
