Petrit Ceku performs and discusses excerpts from J.S. Bach’s monumental Six Cello Suites, BWV 1007-1012. Using examples from multiple suites, Ceku demonstrates the different types of dynamic and color changes that occur in each movement. Along with this, he spends time describing the use of vibrato in Bach’s music and lastly why students should feel comfortable with varying the tempo of particular movements.
