Cesar Franck has a very interesting history and connection with the flute and flutists in the time he lived. Marina Piccinini takes us on a journey through Franck’s life, the history of this sonata originally for violin, and gives perspective on how we can make this piece our own.
I. Allegretto ben moderato
Marina Piccinini talks us through practice strategies and pitfalls that we may fall into when practicing the first movement.
