Equipped with a 2-octave MIDI station and a 9-foot concert grand, Laude uses the keyboard as a “picture of tonal pitch space” to demonstrate essential musical relationships. Starting with a single tone, Laude shows you how to step your way across an octave, building major and minor scales, modes, and other colorful patterns. This opens up an endless tapestry of musical possibilities enshrined in the circle of 5ths, and culminating in the study of diatonic harmony. Gogoncea then relates this knowledge back to the guitar.
