Dominic Cheli is a pianist, educator, composer, and director known for his “spontaneous yet perfect” artistry (Symphony Magazine). He has performed with major orchestras, debuted at Walt Disney Concert Hall and Carnegie Hall, and appeared at top festivals like Ravinia and Mostly Mozart. His acclaimed recordings include works by Clementi, Liszt, and Schulhoff, and he has contributed as a composer and performer for the documentary Defying Gravity (2021).
Beyond performance, Cheli leads tonebase Piano, an online platform connecting 25,000+ students with world-class artists. He is also dedicated to community engagement, performing with the Darshan Trio and Street Symphony. A Yamaha Artist and faculty member at the Colburn Community Music School, he holds degrees from the Manhattan School of Music, Yale, and Colburn.
