Judicael Perroy discusses musical and technical aspects from all three movements of J.S. Bach’s Prelude, Fugue, and Allegro BWV 998. Perroy begins by performing the Prelude and sharing his thoughts on musical analysis and how much it should impact one’s interpretation.

This is then followed with a thorough explanation of bass articulation. In the Fugue, Perroy demonstrates an exercise that aids in the dynamic shaping of each voice. The masterclass is finished with a technical examination of the Allegro and Perroy’s thoughts on anticipation and arm weight.
