How does gifting work?

We've made gifting access to tonebase a simple process! Start by choosing the length of your gift – one Month, Year, or Lifetime. Once you have completed checkout, we will send you an email with a unique, one-time use coupon code which you can send to the gift receiver to redeem when they create their tonebase account. We'll also include clear instructions for how to use their coupon code and get access to tonebase.

Does a gift membership give access to one or all instruments?

A separate subscription is required for each instrument, and it is the same for gift memberships. In other words, one gift membership gives access to the instrument of the gift receiver’s choosing.

Do I need to select a specific instrument for the gift?

Nope! The coupon code we send you will work on whichever instrument your gift recipient chooses – Guitar, Piano, Violin, Cello, or Flute.

Does my gift expire?

No. The redeemable coupon code can be used at any time and will not expire. It will only start once the 14-day trial period is over

How will I be charged?

You will only be charged once for the redeemable coupon code. When you purchase a gift you are NOT starting a subscription to tonebase and there will be no recurring charges.

What are the different gifting pricing options?

Will tonebase notify my recipient?

No, tonebase will not notify your recipient. You will receive a gift email you can forward to them whenever you choose

Yes! The gift receiver will be able to use tonebase for 14-days free before the gift kicks in. (Note: Unless they’ve already used a 14-day free trial on their account)

How does the 90-day money-back guarantee work?

Our goal is to make sure that members have the best learning experience possible. If tonebase isn’t right for your friend or family, then contact us at team@tonebase.co or with the chat widget in the app within 90 days of your purchase, and we’ll offer a full refund – no questions asked.
